Gomez and Sullivan Engineers, DPC has been specializing in engineering, environmental science, and data management solutions for the water resource and energy sectors since 1993.  We are a small, growing water resources consulting firm with a national reputation for excellence.  Our staff of approximately 50 individuals working in New Hampshire and New York includes water resource, civil, structural, geotechnical, environmental, and mechanical engineers, as well as environmental scientists, fisheries biologists, ecologists, hydrogeologists, geologists, geomorphologists, and GIS specialists.  Our core services include engineering, hydropower licensing, environmental studies, hydrology & hydraulics, fisheries and fish passage, dam removal and river restoration, and geographic information systems.

Gomez and Sullivan is seeking to fill a summer civil/water resources engineering internship position at our Henniker, NH, Utica, NY, Albany, NY, or Buffalo, NY office.  Ideal candidates will be recent graduates or students majoring in civil or water resources engineering.  The position will involve assisting engineers and scientists with field work, data processing, and report writing for a variety of projects in the fields listed above, as well as general administrative work.  A working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, Excel) is a must; education in or experience with GIS, AutoCAD, surveying, or hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software (e.g., HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, etc.) is a plus.  Candidate must be comfortable working outdoors and around water.  A driver’s license is required; access to a personal vehicle is desirable. This position is a paid, full-time, seasonal position, open for Summer of 2020 (flexible start/end dates).
